Good bye @takao5020 ! #MERCI #ATeam #NestMaker #WoodMagicMaker
Since June 4th, JR's installation "Au Panthéon!" is open to the public. Thousands of faces collected in March 2014 from photos that were uploaded to the website www.au-pantheon.fr, and at nine national monuments through an Inside Out PhotoBooth truck create this monumental work that surrounds the drum of the Pantheon's dome, and covers the floor inside the monument.
JR’s installation covers the dome, the cupola, and the floor of the Pantheon. The outside artwork will be exposed throughout construction on the Pantheon’s upper parts, whereas the inside installation will remain until October 5th, 2014.

At Power Station of Art, a recent museum, often compared to the Tate Modern in Shanghai, an exhibition highlights JR's work from Portrait of a Generation to Unframed (2010-14) and Inside Out. JR shows how in different contexts and around the world he managed to involve the people in the creative process in order to create monumental and singular actions based on black and white outdoor pastings. In the same time, at Magda Danysz gallery, JR's latest works are presented. An Inside Out Photobooth Truck travels around Shanghai for two months. The team also did pastings in the city. Until July 5th, 2014. Details here and more pictures below.
Les Bosquets, the ballet created by JR on a music by Woodkid, in collaboration with New York City Ballet, was presented at Lincoln Center during XX1st Century Week, from April 29th to May 4th. You can see a video here and check out images below!
To coincide with the special occasion of the Premiere of "Les Bosquets", the ballet created by JR in collaboration with 41 dancers from New York City Ballet, on an original music by Woodkid, with guest dancer Lil Buck, our friends from Social Animals are releasing this exclusive lithograph by JR. It's an edition of 180, printed in the same place in Paris where Picasso, Chagall, Matisse used to make their lithographs.

JR is presenting a solo exhibition at the Museum Frieder Burda, in Baden Baden, Germany - a retrospective of his career, with a special Inside Out photobooth installation. His UNFRAMED project is also coming to Baden-Baden. As a large-scale project in the city’s urban space, UNFRAMED BADEN-BADEN addresses German-French history and the friendship between the two countries. By putting up posters featuring historical photographs from people’s private photo albums in Baden-Baden’s historic city, JR places the theme in a new context. In the run-up to the exhibition, citizens of Baden-Baden were invited to participate and submit their own personal material. The city has always been a link between Germany and France where, after decades of enmity, the reluctant rapprochement between the two countries is palpable.
Until June 29th, 2014
