Four years ago, a tsunami hit Japan and destroyed part of the Fukushima nuclear plant. Soon after, JR went there with an Inside Out Photobooth truck, and let it to a group of Japanese artists to allow people from the region to express themselves with their face. One of these artists was Takao Shiraishi ( @takao5020 ), who then joined the team in various projects. Last week, he pasted eyes of locals who suffered from the catastrophe onto huge wooden structures by the sea, near Fukushima. The gigantic eyes appeared on the hill for a couple of days, as a blink of the eyes.
