Fin 2010, JR emmène Wrinkles à Shanghai. Ce projet nous permet de lire l’histoire de la vie de ces gens, les souvenirs qu’ils veulent bien nous confier. En nous livrant ces récits JR nous montre qu’il est important de ne pas oublier ce que les anciens ont à transmettre au plus jeunes.
Sans porter de jugement, l’artiste nous propose un regard poétique, social et avant tout humain. Comme il le dit lui même : « Changer la manière dont les gens voit le monde, est déjà une manière de faire changer les choses… »
