"JR : CHRONICLES", GRONINGER MUSEUM, GRONINGEN, NETHERLANDS

NOVEMBER 20TH, 2021 - JUNE 12TH, 2022

After New York and London, the exhibition JR: Chronicles will be held at the Groninger Museum from 20 November 2021 to 12 June 2022. This is JR's first retrospective in the Netherlands.

For almost 20 years, JR has been giving a voice to people from all over the world, using art as a means of expression or empowerment for those whose voices are not normally heard.

The exhibition explores JR's career, from his early projects Portrait of a Generation and Face 2 Face to his more recent ones, such as Kikito and Chronicles.

To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, the Inside Out photo booth truck will be honouring the people of the province of Groningen with actions in various parts of the city and in Stadskanaal from 13 to 19 November 2021.
