LA CAVERNE DU PONT NEUF, 2026

La Caverne du Pont Neuf, a monumental temporary work of art by JR, will be on view from June 6 to 28, 2026. Plan your crossing using the official project website.

The artwork pays tribute to Christo and Jeanne-Claude's The Pont Neuf Wrapped, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. This is a time-limited opportunity for Parisians and visitors to experience an ephemeral reimagining of the city's oldest bridge.

The project is facilitated by L’Amicale des Ponts de Paris endowment fund. The installation will not use any government sources. It is funded by the sale of JR's works along with private support, including Snap Inc., Bloomberg Philanthropies, Paris Aéroport, and Salesforce.

Beyond the Pont Neuf, the installation is visible across the city — on foot or by bike, from the Seine's quays and its bridges, or from the water by boat.

Accessible free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
